Meet your guide
I started work as a Peak District National Park Ranger, and then made the move to Devon in 1991 to manage the Heritage Coast - I've dedicated myself to protecting and promoting the region's natural beauty ever since.

For over three decades, I've been sharing my love and knowledge of East Devon's countryside, leading walks for the Heritage Coast Service and the AONB (now National Landscape).

Beyond walking, I'm dedicated to nurturing deep connections with nature. I work with schools, engage in conservation projects, and aim to inspire future generations. These projects focus on improving habitats for various wildlife, from butterflies and birds to bats and dormice.

My conservation efforts also extend to preserving the area's rich heritage, including Bronze Age burial mounds, Iron Age hillforts, and quarrying sites.

With my experience and passion for the land, I'm committed to safeguarding Devon's natural wonders for the future. Now, I'm excited to offer you and your group a memorable walk that highlights the beauty of our surroundings.
